Free Dog Training tips

The best free dog training tips you'll ever is to emphasize positive reinforcement techniques and minimize or eliminate the negative. This sounds simple, and very basic, but very few new dog owners do not understand or follow this rule. Regardless of what the problem is you are trying to teach your dog, or even if you try to correct undesirable makes it with positive reinforcements. For example, if you try to stop your dog from jumping on people, shout "no" or "Down" to stop him. For the most part do not understand dogs what you want them to stop when you shout out negative reinforcement commands. However, they are very quickly learn what behaviors have them praise and goodies.

So for this example, when your dog starts to jump on you, blocking his paws from landing on you and turn away from him. Dogs hate is ignored. When he is approaching you in the right way (without jumping) immediately, but calm, praise him and pet him. I say calmly, because if you praise him too Group President, can you make him jump again. The key is, indeed, patience. It is very tempting to try to fix the bad behavior with an immediate negative reaction, shouting "no", but if you can verify that ask and wait until he bad behavior then praise him, you'll learn much quicker results.

Now I realize that ignore is not always the right way to go. Two examples that I can think of is when he is chewing tobacco is something he should not be, and when he is to have an accident in the House. In these types of jobs, it is a good idea to shout "no" and force him to stop bad behavior by removing the object he is chewing tobacco or by removing him from the House to a location outside of where he is allowed to go; Then, you must give him with lots of positive reinforcement when he is correct. I know that it can be difficult sometimes to praise your puppy when the image of a stained carpet or chewed up family heirloom is still fresh in your mind, but in order to accelerate the education and avoid future stains or destroyed belongings, it is important to praise him or even reward him when he stops bad behavior and do the right thing.

Another thing; it's OK to cry out, "no" or "Bad Dog" when you catch him in the Act which I mentioned above, it is not okay to do it afterwards. If you come around the corner and see the result of a chewing round or an accident on the floor that actually took place some time ago, it is too late for a negative reinforcement.Even if you know why you yelling at him, he does not.
